It is Ken & Vicki Mansell's desire to see more missionaries come to Japan. It is also their desire to see young people get a real vision of the mission field and its
needs. To these ends, they open up their home and ministry for internships every summer. Here are some pictures of the last two interns who came. The Mansells are excited about the three
young ladies who will be coming this summer. This internship is not a sight-seeing tour, nor a vacation, although some beautiful sights will be seen! The main thrust is to give serious young
people hands-on experience on the mission field. This involves, learning the language, physical work (maintenance, house-keeping and other work associated with the missionaries' day to day
lives), tract distribution, and of course lots of contact with the Japanese. This is done through English classes, church services, community activities, sports, and visitation! |
